Day-by-Day Itinerary
Fly from Zanzibar Airport at 07:35hrs and arrive in Serengeti at 10:50hrs. On arrival at Seronera Airstrip, meet your professional and well-experienced local safari driver guide. After greetings, he will give you a short pre-safari briefing and then embark on game drive in Serengeti National Park for a chance to see the great herds of wildebeest, zebras and gazelles or a pride of lions lounging in the shade. The Serengeti, one of the largest parks in Africa at 15,000 sq km, is home to some three million large mammals and is made up of a diversity of landscapes with the southern region being dominated by the lush grassy plains that draw about two million wildebeest, half a million zebra and some quarter million antelope to make the hazardous journey in search of pasture when the autumn rains come.
It is another morning for exciting game drive in Serengeti. During the game drive we may spot cheetah, lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant, wildebeest, hartebeest, topi, eland, and crocs, Thomson’s and Grant’s gazelle, amongst many more. With over five hundred bird species identified, the park is a veritable ornithological paradise, ostrich abound, secretary bird, marabou stork, and the largest flighted bird on Earth, the kori bustard. We will seek out these creatures with the keen intuition and experience of our tour guide and, with day drawing to a close, we will wend our way to our camp to unwind, dine and take our ease by the fire under the endless East African sky.
After breakfast you will be transferred to the airstrip for your scheduled flight to Zanzibar with (Estimated Time of Departure) being 11:00hrs and (Estimated Time of Arrival) ETA 14:25hrs. Upon your arrival at Zanzibar Airport our services end.
