9 Days Southern Tanzania Wildlife & Beach Honeymoon Safari

After early breakfast depart for full day game drive with a professional guide, looking for the game in the surrounding bushes. You may expect to spot all your favorite African mammals such are elephant, giraffes, lions, buffalo, zebra and even the rare wild dog. You will be served with picnic lunch around noon, on the selected shaded location near the water source, so that you can watch animals coming to drink. Before end of the day you will return to your lodge, where you can spend the rest of the evening at your own leisure.

After breakfast, you will be provided with lunch box and your drive to Mikumi National Park can begin. Arrival is expected in the late afternoon or evening, and you will have possibility to enjoy game drive along the way, with possibility to see zebras, impala, giraffe and elephants. Later you will be transferred to your camp to enjoy dinner and overnight

After breakfast, you will be supplied with packed lunches and taken for full day game drive in Mikumi. Today you can expect to see wide variety of birds, zebras, hippos, hartebeest, wildebeest, impala, warthog, eland antelope, giraffe, buffalo and elephants. The return to your lodge is expected sometimes during evening for dinner and overnight

After breakfast we continue with game drives around Mikumi National Park with options to do game drives or go for a walking safari until noon when we you will take a flight to Zanzibar Island. Our driver will meet you at the Airport in Zanzibar for the transfer to your hotel, in Stone Town. At the end of the day you will head out to Forodhani Gardens where excellent cooked Zanzibar seafood is served; here you will experience Zanzibar’s nightlife.

You will be picked up from your hotel at 09:00 for Stone Town City Tour. After lunch we will leave for Prison Island Tour. The place is famous for tortoises, discovery giant tortoises, ancient prison, and snorkeling around Prison Island. Later you will be transferred back to your hotel to enjoy dinner and overnight

After breakfast and checking out, you will enjoy a spice tour. You will explore by testing, smelling different spices grown and used in Zanzibar cuisines; cardamom, cinnamon, black peppers, cloves and so on. It is not only tour but also a rare experience to prove why Zanzibar is called spice Island. Lunch will be served in the spice farm where you will get a chance to taste the spices and fruits grown in the farm. Later in the afternoon, you will head out to Nungwi beach where the rest of the day will be spent at leisure on the beach. Later you will enjoy dinner and overnight accommodation

You will spend this day relaxing at the beach. You will enjoy the sun, swimming, playing volleyball. The day will be complemented by beautiful sunsets in the evening as the sun sets over the ocean. Later you will enjoy dinner and overnight

Hotel pick up will be at 7 am and then we ll hit the road towards Mnemba Atoll, Zanzibar’s most important marine conservation area. Once we arrive, we’ll board a boat that will take us to Mnemba. You will be provided with snorkeling equipment and you’ll have the rest of the day free to explore the crystal clear waters of this spectacular area. Hundreds of shades of blue, a 7-kilometer long (4.3 mile) coral reef and friendly dolphins are some of the great attractions you’ll find. On this trip we normally encounter pods of bottlenose dolphins between 10 and 20 which are usually in grey color, measure two to four meters in length and have a curved mouth giving the appearance that they are always smiling. You will later enjoy dinner and overnight

Today you will enjoy half leisure depending on your flight schedule you will be transferred to the airport.

After thousand miles of good memories in the wild and incredible experiences in Zanzibar, it is time to fly back home. Our driver will pick you up at your Hotel and transfer to the Airport for your flight back home.
